A liquid blend of highly active cleaning compounds developed for safe, fast, economical in-service cleaning of the air handling systems on turbocharged diesel engines. It removes airborne contaminants deposited on scavenge air trunks, air coolers and inlet valves, reducing fouling so heat transfer and engine efficiency improve, pressure drop stays low, and fire hazard from grease build-up is minimised.
Used with the Vecom Air Cooler Cleaner dosing system for in-service cleaning. The solution can be saved and reused until thoroughly contaminated; flushing the unit with kerosene before use prevents excessive dilution. Solids that accumulate in the reservoir drum during cleaning can be removed periodically.
