A heavy-duty scale and rust remover in powder form, suitable for diesel engine cooling water systems, boilers, evaporators, condensers and similar equipment.
If deposits are covered in oil or grease, degrease first with a 2–8% solution of Tankclean Alkaline, Carbon Remover NC or Seaclean Voyage, circulated 4–6 hours (heating to 60°C speeds this up). Then circulate a 5–10% solution of Descaler Powder NI in water — don't exceed 10% strength. Vent the circuit at its highest point to release gases produced during descaling; heat up to 60°C max to speed the process, and regenerate the solution by adding more product as needed. The soaking method follows the same steps and strengths as circulation.
