A low-toxicity, biodegradable oil dispersant, ready to use.
Used to disperse and clear accidental oil spills on deck and at sea, and doubles as a tank cleaner for heavy oil contamination like crude oil and paraffins. Complies with MARPOL Annex V guidelines (Resolution MEPC 295(71)). Can be boosted with Seaclean Voyage or GP Degreaser.
For spills on water: contain with booms where possible, pump/skim off excess, then apply undiluted — hand spray for small spills, boat-mounted spraying equipment for larger ones — and disperse the treated oil with a fire hose or other mechanical means. For tank cleaning: mix in tank bottom or void space, save 2–3 drums to boost the final 20–25% of tanks, and recycle the cleaning solution through the tank washing system for at least 2 hours per machine drop; heating to a maximum of 50°C shortens cleaning time.
For spills: applied undiluted. For tank cleaning: 4–10% dilution depending on contamination (8–8.5% for best results), with an optional 2–3% Seaclean Voyage or GP Degreaser boost.
