A liquid rust and stain remover, and metal brightener, for general and tank cleaning.
A liquid detergent compound containing phosphoric acid and non-ionic surfactants, effective at removing light rust and lime deposits from iron, steel, aluminium and copper, while passivating the surface at the same time. Also removes rust stains from non-metallic surfaces like painted areas, porcelain and terrazzo, and provides protection ahead of painting iron and steel.
Can be applied by injection, recirculation or spraying, with concentration and temperature adjusted to the level of deposits. For tank cleaning, typically circulated via the tank washing machine.
For tank cleaning, typically circulated as a 0.5% solution for about 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly 10–15 minutes after application (5 minutes on aluminium). Not recommended on zinc or galvanised surfaces.
