A powerful antimicrobial biocide formulated to eliminate bacteria, fungi, yeasts, algae and sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRBs) in diesel, marine gas oil and biofuels, controlling microbial growth and preventing microbial-induced corrosion in fuel systems.
Clean heavily contaminated systems (tank and pipes) before treating, so the active ingredients can reach the microorganisms present. Add to the tank before refuelling for good mixing. On first use, remove any released algae clusters promptly before they clog fuel filters.
Preventive use: 50 mL per tonne. Light contamination: 150–200 mL per tonne. Moderate contamination: 200–250 mL per tonne. Heavy contamination: 250–350 mL per tonne.
Usually available in 25 L steel drums.
