An alkaline liquid for removing deposits from exhaust gas economizers after water washing, primarily intended for motor vessel exhaust gas heat recovery units of any design, and effective for washing down auxiliary and main boilers from the uptakes through economizers, generating tube banks, superheaters, membrane walls, water walls and furnaces. Contains an additive to help remove vanadium.
Spray undiluted onto a completely dry area at the uppermost point of the system. A clinging agent lets it run around tubes and fins and drain onto the next bank; maintain a steady spray on the top area until the whole unit is soaked. Very large systems may need spraying in sections.
Applied undiluted — quantity depends on system size.
