A pickling paste specially designed for stainless steels, removing high-temperature oxide scale and annealing colours in weld seams and heat-affected zones.
Paint generously onto the pickling positions and observe the required reaction time. Afterward, rinse under cold water using a high-pressure water jet (at least 120 bar) — plastic or stainless steel wire brushes can improve the rinsing effect. Neutralise the wash water with a neutralising liquid or calcium hydroxide before disposal. Avoid working in direct sunlight, which risks premature drying.
Reaction time is 15–60 minutes for rusty and acid-resistant/stainless steels, depending on material quality and ambient temperature; optimal pickling temperature is 18–20°C. As a guide, 1 kg treats a substantial weld-seam area — contact us for exact coverage.
