A solvent-based emulsion for cleaning tanks and surfaces contaminated with petroleum residues.
A tank cleaner with rapid penetration and high solvent power, used for cleaning tanks contaminated with petroleum residues, double bottom tanks, deep tanks and bilges. Compatible with most tank coatings.
Multiple methods available: tank cleaning machines (fixed or portable, e.g. Butterworth type), manual spraying, rock & roll, or recirculation. For double bottom/deep tanks at sea (rock & roll): strip and flush the tank, close other valves, add the first dose, fill to 25% with water, heat to 60°C max and hold 24 hours; then fill to 95% and hold 48–72 hours; add a second, stronger dose, refill to 90–95% and hold another 48–72 hours. For cargo tanks with cleaning machines: prepare in a solution tank or inject by metering pump, stripping continuously while washing. For bilges/pump rooms (rock & roll): use a lighter solution as detailed in the dosage chart.
0.1–0.2% for the first rock & roll dose, 1–1.5% for the second dose, 2–6% when applied via tank cleaning machines, and 0.5–1.5 L per tonne of water for bilge/pump room circulation depending on tank size and condition. Can also be used undiluted by spray gun on bulkheads, frames and stringers.
