A water-based alkaline cleaner designed for high-pressure cleaning machines, used to degrease heat exchangers, condensers and similar equipment. Complies with MARPOL Annex V (Resolution MEPC 295(71)).
Ideally clean tanks immediately after discharge. Mix with fresh water and apply by circulation, spray, steam or soak at 20–80°C where possible; for high-pressure work, let it penetrate 5–10 minutes before washing off, keeping the surface damp so it doesn't dry and form edges. Fixed or portable tank cleaning machines (e.g. Butterworth) give the fastest results; flush with fresh water after final cleaning. For heat exchangers/condensers: prepare a 3–8% solution, circulate for 24 hours or fill the unit half full and agitate with a steam lance at 60–90°C, then drain and flush thoroughly.
5–25% for general tank cleaning; 0.1–2.0% for high-pressure work; 3–8% for heat exchanger/condenser degreasing.
Usually supplied in 25 L plastic cans and 200 L plastic drums.
