A water-based, neutral, multipurpose degreaser with low-foaming surfactants. Universally used to clean ship decks, floors and walls, and also suitable in accommodation areas for woodwork, leather, desks, painted areas and bulkheads. Complies with MARPOL Annex V (Resolution MEPC 295(71)).
Pre-wash tanks with hot water (~60°C) before cleaning; for drying/semi-drying oils, pre-wash with cold water instead. Prepare the solution in a separate tank at about 1% of the tank capacity to be cleaned; wash via cargo pump and return the used solution to the mixing tank — one solution typically cleans 2–3 tanks. Alternatively, inject 2 L per 100 L of washing water directly into the tank system. Circulate 2–6 hours at 20–80°C (optimal), then rinse thoroughly — finish with a fresh hot water (70°C) rinse. For immersion baths, apply undiluted.
5% solution for circulation (2–6 hours); or 2 L per 100 L washing water when injected directly.
Usually supplied in 25 L plastic cans and 200 L plastic drums.
