A nitrite-, borate- and organics-based corrosion inhibitor suitable for all types of engines and other closed recirculating water systems, protecting metal surfaces and maintaining a stable pH.
Dose via a Vecom dosing system, at the point of highest circulation — never add to an expansion tank with little or no circulation. Clean out any systems contaminated with oil or scale before applying treatment (use Seaclean Voyage for degreasing, Descaling Liquid Extra for descaling). Always use good-quality demineralised water; never mix cooling water with shore or potable water.
Initial dosage is around 10.3 L per tonne of cooling water. Maintenance dosing follows the nitrite reading from the product dosage chart, checked with the Vecom Test Kit Nitrite.
Usually supplied in 25 L plastic cans and 200 L plastic drums.
