Field titration kit for chloride content. Range 0–400 ppm.
Measures chloride levels in boilers and cooling water systems, range 0–400 ppm. Designed to accompany Boiler Treat Combi or Boiler Treat One Shot in boilers, and Cooltreat NCLT in cooling water systems.
Fill the test jar with 20 mL of cooled sample (or reuse the tested sample from the alkalinity test's step 3). Add 4 drops of reagent BC1/CC1 — the sample turns yellow. Add reagent BC2 drop by drop until a pale orange colour appears; count the drops, each equal to 20 mg/L chloride.
Not applicable — this is a titration test kit.
